This is a simple illustration, which depicts some very deep feelings.
It is based upon love and loss, which leaves us with that deep sense of pain when they leave us.
 
When grieving for the loss of a cat, it can feel that they have suddenly left us, that they have disappeared from our lives in the blink of an eye.
This is entitled "I'm still here", and depicts the sadness and our broken heart, but that they're watching, they see us, they hear us. Because they haven't left....how can they, when they are so integral to our lives.
 
This painting has been printed onto a superior felt white 270gsm cardstock, which produces a rich, luxurious print.
